All five incoming Directors will be formally inducted to the Board on Friday, March 27th, 2026 at the ITEEA Annual Conference in Virginia Beach, VA.

The 2025 ballot also included a vote on ITEEA Bylaws Revisions proposed by the Board of Directors, which required a two-thirds majority of a membership vote. The measure passed by a wide margin.

The approved revisions were mostly editorial and non-substantive, but there were a few substantive revisions. Specifically:

  • Update Membership types and add Partnership types per recent Board approved changes that better align Member and Partner classifications and related benefits to stakeholder needs.
  • Remove prescriptive requirements for appointed Council Directors and elected Region Directors so positions are more accessible and inclusive.
  • Remove references to selective Officer duties and procedures that are fully defined in ITEEA’s Board and Committee & Task Force Handbooks.
  • Clarify processes for the Board to take action outside of a meeting.
  • Clarify processes for nominating Officer and Director candidates and for filling Director vacancies.
  • Clarify requirements for continued authorization of ITEEA Councils.
  • Eliminate the sunset clause, providing flexibility for the Board to sunset policies as appropriate.

The current ITEEA Bylaws can be found on ITEEA's website.

Sincere thanks are extended to the new Board Members for taking on this leadership role and to the other candidates for their willingness to share their wealth of experience and talent with ITEEA. By being part of the ballot, each of the candidates has demonstrated their commitment and leadership in the field.
