Dear Chris,

With the end of our lease at Backstreets HQ drawing nearer, we’re redoubling efforts to clear it all out.

We've still got a ton of records, CDs, magazines, and other collectibles on our shelves, and while much of it is available through our Backstreet Records online shop (get 20% off everything there with coupon code BR20), we needed a better, more efficient way to offer more limited items to interested collectors and fans.

Enter our eBay shop, active for a couple weeks now, where we're adding new items daily. We tested the waters with some import seven-inch singles last week, and this week added some unusual CDs and 12-inch singles to the mix. Lots more on deck in the coming days!

12" singles added this week and up for auction now:

Ending tomorrow, this unusual Spanish single for "I'm Goin Down" that leads with B-side "Janey, Don't Your Lose Heart" (but spells her name wrong) packaged with bonus postcards in a gatefold cardboard sleeve:

Coming tomorrow, this limited (and long-sold-out) 10-inch single featuring six Springsteen covers performed on Tom Cunningham's weekly radio show. Since Tom made this a benefit release, we're offering it here in the same spirit as a charity auction, donating 100% of our winning bid to Fulfill.

As with all of our Backstreet Records auctions over the years, we're conscious of making this for all fans, not just those with deep pockets. We're keeping minimum bids low. We've got a wide variety of cool items going up on the block -- and cool doesn't have to mean expensive.

Thanks to those who have been bidding so far -- not only are you giving good new homes to these collectibles, you're also keeping us from having to throw things out when the landlord comes calling!

If you haven't already, we hope you'll visit & Save our eBay shop to keep up with our latest auctions as we add new stuff every day.

Chris and John at Backstreet Records
