Join us for the best time of the year at our annual Light Up A Child's Life Holiday Party! Celebrate the season with a day full of holiday magic, featuring live entertainment, visits with Santa, a delicious brunch, festive crafts, and plenty of fun for the whole family.
Date: Sunday, November 22nd, 2026
Time: 10:00AM - 12:30PM (doors open at 9:30AM)
Location: Best Western Premier Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre - 1316 33 St NE, Calgary AB
Cost: $30 per family (includes a gift for the member and entrance to the event). Fee assistance is available.
For siblings, you may bring a wrapped gift or ask us to purchase one for $30 per sibling.
Want to make a weekend out of it? Extend the fun with an overnight stay on the evening of the 21st! Reserve a hotel room for a special rate of $99 by calling Best Western at (403) 248-8888 and mention that you're attending the CP Kids and Families Holiday Party! Equipment Feature: Seat2Go
We are excited to share a new piece of equipment in our equipment lending program! The Seat2Go is a lightweight, portable seat designed to provide postural support for children. Straps on the back are perfect for securing to a chair (e.g. stadium seats) or stroller!

Adapted Dance
Get ready to move and groove!
Join us Saturday mornings for Adapted Dance, led by the facilitators from Bloom. This inclusive program encourages participants to build confidence, stay active, express themselves through music, and connect with friends in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Dates: Saturdays, October 17 - December 19
Time: 1 Hour Dance Classes
Ages 3-7: 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
Location: Windsor Park Community Centre (5304 6 St SW, Calgary)
Cost: 10 sessions for $100

Learn 2 Ride
Learn 2 Ride with Us!
Whether you're learning to ride your adapted bike, building confidence, or keeping your cycling skills strong, we'd love to ride with you! Join our 60-minute instructional cycling classes. Every participant receives personalized coaching and 1:1 support from a dedicated volunteer to help build skills, and independence. Bike storage available.
Dates:
Block 2 - November 1, 8, 15, 29, December 5 (no session November 22)
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM or
2:15 PM - 3:15 PM
Location: Seven Chiefs Sportsplex (19 Bullhead Road, Tsuut'ina Nation - SW edge of Calgary)

Soccer Program
In partnership with Calgary Minor Soccer Association, Soccability Canada, and Sport Calgary, the adapted soccer program provides a supportive environment for participants ages 4-18 to build soccer skills and have fun!

Join us for a month of fall fun and Hallowe'en-themed activities at our Virtual Social & Recreation Programs this October! We have an exciting lineup of activities planned this month, including dance, movies, karaoke, games, and more. Our virtual programs run from Monday to Friday taking place at 6:30 PM every night, so you can join in on the evenings that work best for you.

Calgary's Accessible Hallowe'en Village
(Inspired by Treat Accessibly)

Calgary homeowners have banded together to hold their very own Halloween Village inspired by Treat Accessibly! This event is intended for children with disabilities and their families, allowing them to experience curb-side and accessible trick or treating with each other and with local neighbourhood kids. CP Kids and Families will be there - come say hello!
