Think of it as a family reunion. We’re talking about Annual Meeting 2026, which will take place April 10-11 at Green Lake Conference Center. | | Palm Sunday Path seeks to model the way of Jesus | | |
Are you concerned about the rise of authoritarianism and white Christian nationalism? Consider joining the Palm Sunday Path, a growing movement of faith communities committed to countering the darker impulses coursing through our society by following the model of Jesus. On Palm Sunday in Madison, for example, Christians carrying palms from morning worship will walk together around Capitol Square, embodying a different vision of power—the way of humility, mercy, and courageous love. Other Palm Sunday Path groups are forming around the state.

| PJWG urges action to halt illegal settlement | |
The Conference Palestine Justice Working group is urging people of faith to sign an online petition prepared by Global Ministries that calls on the Trump administration to demand that Israel halt construction of a new settlement being constructed within a predominantly Muslim and Christian town near Bethlehem. The town, Beit Sahour, is the site of the Shepherds’ Field, where the biblical account says an angel announced the birth of Jesus to local shepherds. The new settlement, Yatziv, threatens to displace Palestinians currently living there. The United Nations’ top court has ruled such settlements a violation of international law.
