National: New U.S. Tariff Framework Announced
The Trump administration announced a new tariff framework imposing 10% to 12.5% duties on many imports from 60 trading partners as temporary tariffs are set to expire this week. While the impact will vary by product and supplier, businesses that purchase imported merchandise, equipment, packaging, furnishings, electronics, or specialty food products may want to confirm supplier pricing, review inventory plans, and ask vendors whether additional cost increases are expected before year end. GOLD Thursdays is a monthly, business-led downtown community experience designed to encourage connection while supporting local businesses.
Stop by Grays Lane from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, or while supplies last, for complimentary cannoli from Holy Cannoli, plus glitter tattoos and balloon art by Rebecca the Balloon Lady, courtesy of the Los Gatos Chamber.

Nominations a Los Gatos Restaurant
The Los Gatos Chamber is accepting nominations for the 2026 Golden Spoon Distinction, presented annually at Taste of Los Gatos to recognize two restaurants who have made a lasting impact on our culinary community.
Nominees are evaluated on:
- Community engagement
- Elevating Los Gatos' culinary reputation
- Longevity and consistency
- Innovation
Eligibility: Honorees must be Los Gatos Chamber members and Taste of Los Gatos participants.
Nominate a restaurant here with a brief explanation of how the nominee meets the selection criteria. Self-nominations are encouraged. Nominations will be accepted through Thursday, August 14.

We're preparing the 2027 Los Gatos Destination Guide & Chamber Business Directory, a valuable member benefit and year-round resource for visitors, residents, and businesses.
Log into your Chamber Member Portal and go to Company > Website Information to review and update your business listing by Friday, August 14. While you're logged in, also verify that your Chamber membership is in good standing, as only current members will be included in the guide.
