IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY WEEK - WE ARE NOW 6 YEARS OLD!
ALS ONE was officially launched on January 21st, 2016! We have come such a long way and we owe our sincere and humble gratitude to those who have continued to be by our side. The impact of your continued support has been profound and has made an immense impact on so many of our ALS research and care initiatives.
Since our founding, we have raised over $13.5 million dollars and two-thirds of that incredible number has come from grassroots fundraising - events big and small that we hold, events that others hold for us, workplace giving, sponsorships, folks driving with our ALS License Plate, all of our endurance teams, and the continued generous donations of so many incredible people. Quite simply, we wouldn't be here without all of you!
Our Founder, Kevin Gosnell, wrote in his book, Life Lessons, #93: "We were put here on this earth to make it better than when we arrived." Kevin certainly did just that by so much of what he accomplished in his life before losing his battle to ALS at age 48, especially by founding ALS ONE, and we thank you for making this world a better place by being by our side and helping us reach our goal of a world without ALS. We think Kevin would be very proud at just how far we've come and the differences we have made and continue to make.
