🌟 What an inspiring time at Las Vegas Market with our talented ASID design members! From exploring the latest trends and innovations in interior design to networking with industry leaders, the event was packed with creativity and energy.

⁠2024 | The Year of Travel

In July we were treated to an incredible tour of Plato Woodwork and Cambria in Minneapolis, MN! 🌟 It was fascinating to see the craftsmanship and innovation behind Plato's custom cabinetry, where precision meets artistry. We also had the chance to explore Cambria's state-of-the-art facilities and witness their stunning quartz surfaces being brought to life. The dedication to quality and attention to detail at both companies is truly inspiring. Thanks to the teams at Plato Woodwork and Cambria for an unforgettable experience

Our Minnesota trip continued with a visit to the Pillsbury Design House designed by ASID Minnesota. Wow - what a fabulous treat. This historical property was brought back to life with a nod to the past and a delightful touch of whimsy🥰.

GATHER: Catalyst 2024 

Gather: Catalyst 2024 is a new version of our national conference that highlights ASID-led innovation and idyllic change for the future of interior design. GATHER: Catalyst 2024 brings together ASID volunteer leaders and members in a three-day event exploring key strategic initiatives, leadership development, and inspirational learning.

Many of GATHER's main staples, such as quality CEU programming, networking opportunities, and unique experiences, will still be part of the event, just on a more intimate scale. The event will include suggested programming for national volunteers, chapter volunteers, student leaders, industry partners, award winners, applicable leadership programming, and opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences.

New ASID research highlights trends in interior design salaries, benefits and hiring practices

Two new research reports released today by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) show that overall, the interior design profession is strong and industry professionals are satisfied in their careers. Created to support interior designers across all professional levels, the “ASID Compensation & Benefits Report” and the “ASID Talent Acquisition Report” outline prevalent issues in the interior design workplace and offer data to empower the design community to a more inclusive and equitable future.
