"Outfitter was very pleasant and was engaged with his clients and very appreciative of us choosing him for our hunt. It was a very laid back environment and the other hunters were pleasant. Justin and his guides are very knowledgeable and this showed with his hunter’s success. The hunting was awesome and the landscape was beautiful". Wyoming #263- Oct 2024

"Spending a week in the Arctic Circle with my son was amazing. Our guide Geordy was very competent and a pleasure to hunt with. He works very hard to put you on animals. He also is a very good cook and makes a heck of a cup of French press coffee in the bush!" Alaska #267

LUXURY RANCH FREE RANGE RED STAG

We have worked with this very fine outfitter for 15 years. Hunt Nation founder, Butch Manasse, has hunted personally with him, and we have had our clients hunting with him, all with good results and happy smiles!! This operation prides itself on being personable, on giving superb service, and on keeping clients happy. Success is normally 100% on red stag and most other species. This outfitter has acquired access to the largest cattle breeding ranch in La Pampa at approx. 85,000 acres.

This ranch offers a higher-end luxury lodge experience with any size stag included in the package price of $6,600 per person 1x1. Trophy stags will average 7x7 frames scoring around 280”, with plenty of larger trophies plus wild buffalo, blackbuck, wild boar and wild goat. A nearby 6,000 acre fenced estate offers trophy stags plus other game including axis and fallow deer as well as mouflon. Non-hunting observers can be added for $480/night per person.

These are arguably the most sought after dates of the year!

UNLIMITED SCORE FOR FREE RANGE STAGS

We are fortunate to develop a relationship with this outfitter over 22 years ago. We have personally hunted 5 times with this WORLD CLASS outfitter/rancher in Argentina. NO AGENCY HAS A BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS OUTFITTER!!

Our 22+ years of friendship with them gives our clients the edge! The outfitter’s ranch is large (approximately 55 square miles, or 37,000 acres) with nearly 2 /3 of it being bush on which no cattle are allowed. In recent years the trophy quality, has improved with each passing year by supplementing the herd. Normally we heard literally hundreds of roars! The noise was incredible and we guessed stag density to exceed 10-20 per square mile. Lately Hunt Nation clients have been declining the 12 and 14 points stags, and holding out for what is often an 18 to 22 point trophy stag. And those clients hunting management stags actually took larger animals than most western elk hunters will shoot this year. Quite literally, from mid-March into mid-April, you may well go from one roaring animal to the next, skirting the many other roaring stags in favor of the deep bellows. One client (one of our NM elk guides!) took a huge 8x7 with his bow at a waterhole blind. Every year the results are virtually the same — except the stags keep averaging larger and larger! And this ranch offers the opportunity to harvest multiple species on each trip.

Take advantage of these great dates and pricing. For 2026 pricing will increase about $1,000 or more on each package.

ALASKA #267

ARCTIC CARIBOU AND GRIZZLY

This outfit hunts the Western Arctic herd, which is estimated to exceed 150,000. We feel that this outfit is poised to offer you some of the finest caribou hunting to be found in North America, with 3 herds it can reach! Two other caribou herds are also nearby including the Porcupine herd which is over 190,000 animals. However, caribou hunting is never a sure thing due to their wide ranging habits and overnight disappearances. At present only one caribou per non-resident hunter. Also note that you are in very competent hands as historically the success rate has been around 90%+. And often there is some world class fishing right close at hand!

This outfit’s concession area is located north of the Gates of the Arctic National Park and adjacent to the famed ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge) and extends westerly for hundreds of miles.

2025 PRICES (subject to change without notice until deposit received)

VERY AFFORDABLE FREE RANGE RED STAG

Hunt Nation owner Ed Manasse hunted with this outfitter on some fantastic hunting ground in the Province of La Pampa, which is one of the very best stag areas in Argentina. The outfitter hunts approximately 37,000 acres of century-old scrublands where regal red stags reign, from which they harvest about 35-40 stags per year. Free-range stags roam with wild boars and pumas. In this area, animals wander wild and free in their natural environment. The hunt starts very early in the morning, before dawn. You drive a short distance to the area you will hunt, and then put your ears to the wind. You’ll hear the stags as they roar and bellow. Once dawn breaks, you stalk to within sight of the animal to assess its horns to determine if it is a worthy trophy. Around noon you return to the lodge to enjoy a hearty meal, rest for a short while, and start the ritual once again in the afternoon.

Stay in a five-star lodge and you are accommodated in double suites. Package includes 1x1 guiding, with all meals and lodging, and free gun rental. This is a 5-day hunt and you are free to shoot the largest stag you see. Typically free range stags will be mature animals with very good mass and have 6x6 or bigger racks.

WYOMING #263

AWESOME ANTELOPE WITH GUARANTEED DRAW

This operation is located fifty miles south of Gillette, Wyoming. They have leased over 100,000 acres of private land, along with over 250,000 acres of public land (Thunder Basin National Grassland). They specialize in pronghorn, but also offer very limited elk hunts. The hunting lodge is located on the family ranch and consists of three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a comfortable living and dining area. They provide all bedding and linens. They even have a walk-in cooler. They take a maximum 6 hunters but normally only 4 at a time. We are very fond of their archery antelope hunts!!

If you hunt with a bow, then WYOMING IS THE BEST STATE FOR ARCHERY ANTELOPE HUNTING. First, Wyoming has huge antelope numbers – by far the most of all the Western States. Second, tags are easy to draw tags in this area – normally 100%. Third, the 100,000-acre ranch is Antelope Central! Fourth, Hunt Nation helps you with your applications, at no charge. Fifth, because Wyoming is normally pretty dry, antelope concentrate within a mile of water normally, so most of their archery antelope hunts are conducted over a waterhole, with the use of a ground blind or tree-stand. If that isn’t challenging enough spot and stalk using a decoy during the rut maybe an option considering the conditions and weather. There is nothing like a rutting antelope coming in hard and fast to a decoy. It is an amazing adrenaline rush! Rutting antelope bucks are often in fierce competition for territory and does, and clients take Pope & Young-class antelope bucks every year. The high concentration of antelope in this part of Wyoming keeps opportunity at around 100%, with a lot of action.

MAINE #207

FALL BAITED AND/OR HOUND HUNTS FOR BLACK BEARS

Many of Hunt Nation’s clients hail from east of the Mississippi, so we are always on the lookout for great new opportunities that are a bit closer to home for these folks. So when this operation approached us in early 2018 about partnering with them to market their northeastern Maine bear hunts, we were all ears. Besides being outfitters, they consider themselves to be an education, entertainment and hospitality company. Providing extraordinary outdoor adventures, including great service, attention to details, and high quality in every aspect of their operation (including the food and lodging) is their focus. That’s exactly the kind of folks Hunt Nation looks for.

Hunts are conducted on almost 100 square miles of exclusive territory in a remote but scenic area of Maine wilderness. Stands are accessed by vehicle, but they do offer the option of hunting more secluded stands that are accessible only by boat. Only fall hunts are offered, but you can choose to hunt either over bait using hounds or a combination of both, and any legal weapon is welcome. The outfitter himself has been a registered guide in Maine since the age of 18, so he has lots of experience. Bears range from 4.5’ to 7’ and weigh 140 to 300 lbs.; now and then a 400-500 lbs. bear is taken, generally with the hounds. Success rates are around 80% on stand hunts and close to 100% on hound hunt. When you’re not bear hunting, fishing and grouse or goose hunting (when in season) are available. Families and other on-hunting guests are welcome too, and the available fishing, ATV tours, trap shooting, archery course and boating will give them plenty to do while you’re hunting.

ONTARIO #198

NORTHERN PIKE, WALLEYE, BROOK TROUT

Most Canadian outfitters post pricing in U.S. dollars. When the dollar is strong this is really of no benefit under these terms. This is one of the few outfitters that does which means huge savings to our U.S clients. At today’s current exchange rate you will save about 33% on the posted pricing on these trips!

This is a true bargain-priced fly-in lodge with numerous fishing locations and options for catching 10- to 20- pound northern pike, 3- to 8-pound walleyes, and brookies to 4 pounds plus! Again, a fly-in location, remote, but the flight to camp is INCLUDED in the package! Every year sportsmen enjoy the thrill of catching and releasing large numbers of trophy-sized northern pike and walleyes. Although most folks choose to use regular fishing gear, they have recently upped their number of fly fishing programs and clients. So you are welcome to use whatever tackle you most enjoy. Either way, those 15- to 20- pound pike, on a fly or a lure, are going wind you up!

You are going to fly into a 14-mile long true wilderness lake. The lake has a variety of rivers, bays, islands and inlets to fish. You get picked up in either an Otter or a Beaver for the 25-mile flight into the wilderness lodge. You will normally be fishing within a few hours after arriving! Then back to the lodge for great home cooked meals in the main dining room. Then sit and enjoy a crackling fire in the lodge, or retire to your own cabin. The lodge offers an exceptional level of comfort and services throughout the property. The main lodge offers satellite TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable couches and a camp store for your convenience.

PLANS: The lodge has two basic options, both being self-guided, although you can add on guiding if you wish. The first option is the “American Plan” which includes your lodging, your meals, shore lunch kits or a box lunch, daily room service, cleaning and freezing fish and the log sauna, YOUR FLIGHTS IN AND BACK, AN 18’ CEDAR STRIP BOAT AND MOTOR, AND ALL YOUR GAS. You take meals in the main lodge with homemade bread and desserts daily. Your cabin has electricity and 3-piece bathroom and hot shower. The second plan is the “Housekeeping Plan”. Your cabin has the cooking utensils you may need. You must bring in all your food and drinks.

ALASKA #312

FALL BROWN BEAR OVER STREAMS

We at Hunt Nation have used this outfitter for baited spring brown bear hunts for the last few years with good success. After coming out of hibernation and gorging themselves on this easy food source they transition to other areas. Salmon runs take place from June to September and brown bears are drawn to these areas for this high protein diet.

Each day will involve walking less than 2 miles and glassing from vantage points over rivers that offer the best chance at locating bears taking advantage of salmon runs. Hunters should be in decent physical condition and be prepared to carry a small daypack of approximately 25 pounds. Black bears are free as an incidental while hunting brown bears. The client is responsible for having the necessary tags, however. This outfitter does not offer any guided black bear hunts that are not in conjunction with brown bear hunts. Black bears in the area range from 6’-7.5’, a few near 8’ have been sighted. While black bears are FREE to add to any hunt, these are NOT combo hunts. Once the brown bear has been harvested, the hunt is considered over.

For 2025 this outfitter is offering free halibut fishing if you tag out early and weather permits for the first 2 dates!

Unlike many Alaska hunts with multiple extra charges such as charter flights, meat fly outs and additional trophy fees this is an all-inclusive hunt. This outfitter is a pilot and does his own flying. This means no waiting for a 3rd party flying service to get you into and out of the field when weather permits.

2025 PRICES (subject to change until deposit is received)

Brown Bear- 8 day Fall hunt, $20,000 per person 1x1. Black bears and wolf free when in season.

Dates: August 7-15, 9-17, 19-28, 21-30. One spot for each set of dates.

TEXAS #123

AWESOME AOUDAD ON HUGE TEXAS RANCH

These hunts take place in the mountains of West Texas, on over 50,000 acres (with a year-round population of aoudad, but some also move back and forth across the Mexican border). Although you can cover a lot of ground on 4 wheelers, this hunt can be physically demanding and it will be to your advantage to be in good physical shape, although they can accommodate most hunters. You hunt elevations of 4,500-6,500 feet on some rugged rocky terrain in a typical desert habitat; rocky slopes and good balance and quality boots and footwork do help. Temperatures range from 20 degrees to 85 degrees. Shots will average between 150 to 350 yards, although terrain can cause some shots to be 400+ yards.

These are tough animals and we recommend at least a .270 rifle. Javelina are sometimes available as well, at no extra charge. There are no wild hogs there. Arrive the day before your hunt. Sight-in your rifle, and likely go hunting that afternoon. The closest airport is El Paso, TX. Meet the outfitter in Van Horn, and he will lead you to camp, about another 25 miles.

Hunt Nation agent John Pomazi did this hunt in January of 2024 so give him a call to discuss all the details.

Take advantage of these remaining dates for 2025 or book for 2026.

Hunts are 3 ½ days and include lodging, meals, 2x1 guiding, in-field transportation and trophy prep.
