| | Message from Principal Hamilton | | I want to begin by giving a huge shout-out to all of the Poetry Contest class finalists! Because of your dedication and hard work, your performances last Friday did not disappoint! Thank you to this year’s judges - Mrs. Linda Mikottis, Mrs. Sherry Tellefsen, Ms. Katy Okrent, and Mr. Mark Kawinski - for your time, care, and thoughtful attention you gave to our students’ work. | I am also thrilled to announce this year’s overall winners who will be advancing to the RC Education Poetry Contest: Jacqueline Saleh (K-2), John Papierz (3-5), and Grace Abbinanti (6-8). You delivered your poem with impressive precision, confidence, and heart. We wish you all the very best as you take your talents to the next level. | As I mentioned last week, your donations to our Lenten apostolic service project were greatly appreciated. Please take a moment to learn more about the impact we made by reading this letter from Hope’s on the Way, the organization that we worked with to assemble those Buckets of Hope. | We have two important events coming up! |
- Next Wednesday at 1pm our students will present the Resurrection Play, beautifully retelling the story of that first Easter. We invite you to bring family and friends to hear the Good News and continue celebrating the joy of Our Lord’s Resurrection.
- Calling all moms! We hope you will join us on May 8th for our Mothers’ Tribute - a day dedicated to celebrating and honoring the unique and meaningful role that mothers play in our lives. Please RSVP here.
| Lastly, I want to congratulate our spring student athletes and encourage everyone to attend the remaining home games for the co-ed volleyball and soccer season. Please see the Quick Reminders in this newsletter for the dates and times of these games. Go Knights! | Wishing you a blessed Easter season and many moments of joy in these beautiful spring days. | Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings, | |
Thank you to all who participated in this year’s Annual Appeal. Your generosity and commitment to our mission are deeply appreciated and make a meaningful impact on our school community. | We are grateful to share that, together, we raised $43,322.79 through this year’s appeal. This is a wonderful testament to the strength and support of our Everest families. | As you know, tuition alone does not fully cover the cost of an Everest education. While tuition is set at $10,900 per student, the actual cost to educate each child is approximately $15,500. The Annual Appeal plays a vital role in helping to bridge this gap and allows us to continue providing the level of formation and excellence that defines Everest Academy. | We are sincerely thankful for your support and partnership in this effort. Every contribution helps us continue our mission of forming students intellectually, humanly, spiritually, and apostolically. | |
In His service,
Mary Tellefsen
