This special evening is designed for new and prospective families to learn more about MVC’s Middle and High School programs, as well as our current MVC families who would like to learn more. In particular, families with students currently in 6th–8th grade are strongly encouraged to attend as you begin planning for the transition into our 7–12 program.

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the unique experiences MVC offers. Families will learn more about:

• Athletics
  
• Dual Credit Courses
  
• FFA & Agriculture
  
• Art, Music, and Drama
  
• The strong academic foundation that supports it all
  

You’ll also hear how our 7–12 program prepares students for college, technical careers, ministry opportunities, and beyond.

We truly hope our current families will take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions, look ahead, and see what’s in store.

Elementary kicked off RAMM (Read-A-Million-Minutes) on Wednesday, February 18th with a fun teacher skit performed for an energetic crowd of K–6 students!

This year, we’re “going for the gold” with a schoolwide goal of 200,000 minutes read!

Each class has also set its own reading goal, so be sure to check with your student to see what they’re aiming for.

📖 Don’t forget to:

• Read daily (or read together!)
• Log minutes on the reading sheet
• Sign and return the log to your child’s teacher

• SPORTS DAY on Tuesday, February 24th (wear any sports attire)
• Olympic STEM activity done in class the week of Feb 23rd-27th
• TEAM USA Day on Friday, February 27th (wear red, white, and blue)
• Grand Finale celebrated on Wednesday, March 4th
• Prizes for class and school goals handed out Thursday, March 5th

What a fantastic night for our teams on Thursday! We are incredibly proud of the effort, energy, and composure shown by both players and coaches in two very intense games.

What’s next:

• Today, Sunday (2/22): State seeding announced (usually by 2:00 PM)
• Feb. 27/28: Regional Round (Seeds 1–8 advance to Spokane; 9–16 are loser-out)
• March 3: 8:30 AM sendoff for Spokane-bound teams
• March 4–7: State Tournament in Spokane (loser-out, semifinals, and championship rounds)
