Greetings to you. Hope you are well and keeping yourselves and others safe.
This week we commemorate Juneteenth, Freedom Day. I invite you to think with me what the vision of freedom, which is symbolized by June 19th and to which scriptures witness, compels us to do in our present situation.
Hope to see many of you on Friday at 7pm at the peaceful march organized by our local NAACP and Second Baptist Church. You can join a group either at Second Baptist Church or at the Cornerstone School and march to the square downtown. Please wear your mask. You are welcome to bring non-partisan signs calling for justice and equality for all people.
In the meantime, I love hearing from you. Call me. Keep sending your thoughts, questions and ideas about how can we grow in faith and share life and ministry together.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Enikő
