Academic End-of-Course District Testing
|
|
Academic End of Course testing will take place between April 13th and April 29th.
- Please note that not all full-day academic students are testing.
- This will be the first time testing for juniors who are currently taking Geometry and Government.
- Retakes will involve primarily juniors who are still in need of earning more points towards graduation.
- All testing will occur at 8 am; therefore, some juniors will be missing lab to fulfill this Ohio Department of Education Requirement. The exception will be all juniors for Government.
- Those students who are testing will be made aware in advance by their DACC School Counselor of testing location, time, and date.
- If you have questions, please reach out to your designated school counselor.

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve as a learning organization, we would like to collect feedback from the parents of our students. Our goal is to better understand what we do well and where we have opportunities for growth.
Our survey has three sections: (1) School Environment, (2) Employability Skills, and (3) Future Planning.
Please respond with your honest feedback. If you are unsure how to answer a question, please select "I don't know" or leave it blank.
Thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to share your thoughts about our school!

You may have recently received an email regarding an Outstanding Fee Balance. If you have already made payment arrangements, thank you! If payment is still due, checks can be sent to the high school office through your student or their instructor. They should be made payable to DACC, noting your student’s name and lab in the memo section. If you prefer to pay with a credit card, please call Lilian Robinson at 740.203.2230.
Fee Waivers
Your student may be eligible to have all or part of their fees waived except for CTSO dues. Families need to apply annually for this assistance even if they have already applied at their home schools.
To determine eligibility for additional State and Federal program benefits for which your child may qualify, please complete, sign, and return the below Household Income Survey to DACC. DACC must have its own form completed separately from the home school.
It is important that YES is marked in the Fee Waiver Consent Section on the first page. Please return forms to the high school office or email them to the Cafeteria Manager, Kendall Friend, at friendk@delawareareacc.org.
Student Assistance
Student assistance is available to families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch to pay fees that are not waived. It is also available to any family facing hardship and unable to pay fees.
The Household Income Survey and Student Assistance forms need to be completed to be considered for Student Assistance.

Blended Learning Academy (BLA
|
|
Current juniors recently heard a presentation about a new opportunity for taking academic courses at DACC.
BLA is a new approach to DACC academic classes that will be available to qualified, full-day seniors for the 2022-2023 school year.
Here is what a typical week will look like in BLA:
-
Mondays and Wednesdays, students will be required to attend in-person class following a regular schedule.
-
Tuesdays and Thursdays, students will complete assignments and activities from home. During these days, students will be able to work at their own pace, but will have virtual access to their teachers during their assigned period time through video conferencing.
-
Fridays will look and feel like Hybrid Fridays with students qualifying to work from home. Students who are struggling or have transportation issues will be able to attend DACC on any of the virtual days, follow their schedule, and receive more 1-on-1 help from their teachers. Students are required to attend lab daily.
