The next scheduled Coffee with a Cop will be held on August 4^th at Bald Guy Brew coffee shop from 9:00am to 10:00am. At this scheduled engagement, you will have the opportunity to meet with me as well. I will be in attendance for the duration of this engagement, so please feel free to stop by and ask any questions, relay any concerns, or just say hello!

There was a question on our Facebook post this week 'what is Coffee with a Cop?' This is a community engagement initiative from our Police Department that offers anyone in the community a chance to stop by, ask any questions and get to know our officers.

Also, in case you have not noticed, you can now view all Department reports as part of Town Council's monthly Agenda. You can see all of the work that they do throughout Town monthly under the Consent Agenda labeled Monthly Department Reports. We hope that you find this information useful and informative.

Thank you to our staff who work diligently in their respective roles for all of the work that is done responding to calls and providing the services that we all receive.

Also, please be advised that the restrooms in the parking deck area and the lower level of the parking deck at the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum (BRAHM) will be closed on Monday while repairs are being completed in the restrooms. They will reopen once repairs are completed. Please plan accordingly.

There is a lot happening around Town throughout today and this weekend. If you are having issues finding parking this weekend, the Blowing Rock Hop On Hop Off Shuttle Hopper can provide some parking relief, so check them out.

Signage has been completed as scheduled on the Town-owned portion of Green Hill Road that reduced the speed from 25 mph to 20 mph. Please be mindful of the speed limit change.
