WATERMELON SPLASH

Join us for this one-in-a-melon pool party! There will be a kid's watermelon dive and decorating station guaranteed for those who pre-register. Activities will also include a rubber duck race in the lazy river, free snow cones and other games. Register by June 7 to guarantee a watermelon for each child.

DIVE IN MOVIE

Get ready for some family fun at our Dive-In Movie events this summer at the Blanchette Aquatic Facility. Movie snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. No outside food or drinks allowed into these events. Register today before these popular movie nights sell out! Tickets must be purchased in advance.

LITTLE EXPLORERS

This special summer edition of our Little programs will focus on getting your little one to explore nature. Each class will incorporate a brief hike, nature lesson, and activity. Meet new friends, see different city parks, and enjoy some outdoor exploring fun! Explore either Wapelhorst & Webster Park or Blanchette & McNair Park.

SAFETY IN THE PARKS

While out and about in the parks, our Ranger Division would like to remind you of a few safety tips and rules for everyone to have the most enjoyable experience. 

• Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle in plain sight. Properly secure your belongings or leave them at home.
• Carry your cell phone or have a buddy join you while exercising in the parks.
• Speed limit in ALL parks is 15 mph, be vigilant and watch for pedestrians.
• Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times and owners are responsible for removing pet waste.
• No motorized vehicles, including golf carts, on trails, sidewalks or grass.
• Please be sure all fires within a barbecue pit are extinguished prior to leaving.
• Please be courteous to other park visitors by picking up your litter and avoiding disruptive behavior.
• Keeping your cell phone close can not only save your life in an emergency but also aid in saving the lives of others. 

To report a suspicious person, activity or vehicle of concern, call the St. Charles Police/Ranger Dispatch at (636) 949-3300. We appreciate all eyes and ears within the parks and welcome comments. General observations can be made by calling the St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department's Administration Office at (636)949-3372. For immediate emergency response to report fire, medical emergency or a crime in progress, dial 9-1-1.
