THIS WEEK IN HOUSTON

July 8–12, 2026

Houston’s galleries aren’t taking a summer break.

This week brings another full slate of exhibition openings, artist talks, film screenings, public art projects, and live performances. Highlights include several exhibitions inspired by the upcoming FIFA World Cup, a citywide celebration of emerging artists, and opportunities to experience everything from contemporary installation and skateboard art to jazz, cinema, and community gatherings.

As always, please confirm details directly with venues, as schedules and information can change. External links are included with every listing and are required for event submissions. If you submit events, use our new submission link: musedhouston.com/events/community/add/

Thank you for helping keep MUSED Houston accurate, current, and community-driven.

See you out and about.
