A message from our President

Election Day is upon us! If you haven’t voted yet or know someone who hasn’t here are a few easy steps. 1) Check vote411.org to see exactly what’s on your ballot 2) Find your voting location specific to your precinct 3) Plan when on Election Day (11/3) you are going to vote. 4) Get your vote in and be counted!

Members of our League have been attending meetings of the Canvassing Board, who review and process vote-by-mail ballots recommended for acceptance, review vote by mail ballots referred to canvassing board, and duplicate vote by mail ballots as needed. It is a thorough process and ensures that every vote is counted. These meetings will continue through early November.

Over the past few months, we have worked tirelessly to help Volusia County voters make informed, confident decisions. Our efforts have included candidate forums, creating and distributing the Voters Guide, gathering local candidate information for vote411.org, and giving multiple presentations on ballot amendments.
