We're excited to have helped develop this fantastic opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the forest sector!

NBCC is offering a 16-week Mechanized Forest Equipment Operator (MFEO) program to develop qualified students for the Forestry Industry. The MFEO program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions as mechanized forest equipment operators.

The specialized nature of forestry harvesting and the equipment requires skilled operators. The program uses simulators to help students gain the skills they need to become skilled equipment operators. Students will also learn to perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs. Emphasis is placed on safety, environmental sustainability and commercial operations.
