Legislative Report # 10 - March 05, 2023

SENATE BILL 1 - COMMITTEE VOTE

Dear John,

Senate Bill 1 as revised on March 2nd, is linked below. It is a combination of original restrictions, new restrictions and some provisions contained in House Bill 824. Taken as a whole this is a terribly offensive bill directed at law-abiding citizens. Despite its name, this bill has absolutely nothing to do with safety and everything to do with anti-gun Democrats needing to appear pro-active in negating the impact of the Bruen decision.

This bill is scheduled for a vote in the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee this Tuesday, March 7th. Be sure to contact each Committee member and your own Senator. Respectfully but firmly express your opposition to this oppressive bill.
