After a morning of tracking mountain gorillas or golden monkeys at Volcanoes National Park followed by lunch at your lodge, you arrive at Travulous' Exclusive Event for a unique insight into the conservation of the endangered mountain gorilla, from past to present, before returning to your lodge for dinner, or later in the evening.
During the afternoon or evening, you will have the opportunity to learn from renowned mountain gorilla conservation organisations and meet former research colleagues of Dian Fossey, including Craig Sholley, to hear stories about working and living with Dian in the 1970s and 1980s at the original Karisoke Research Camp.
