🌐 Herbert H. Lehman directed the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration from 1943-1946, presiding over the largest international relief effort in history.


πŸ•ŠοΈ The United Nations held the first American meetings of its Security Council on Lehman's historic campus and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights began to be drafted here.


🎀 In 2016, Ban Ki-Moon, UN Secretary-General at the time, delivered the College's Lehman Lecture.

Community Cleanup

Members of the Lehman community cleaned up along Jerome Avenue near Gate 13. Bronx Community Board 7 shares that over 50 bags of garbage, weeds, and leaves were collected.
