Scarsdale Forum Announces Committee Chairs, Directors-at-Large, and Executive Committee Members for 2019-2020

Leadership Roles Approved at Forum's Recent Board Meeting

SCARSDALE, NY (6/16/19) -- During its meeting on Thursday night, t he Scarsdale Forum Board of Directors approved appointments of committee chairs, co-chairs, directors-at-large, and executive committee members for the coming year. Terms run from 2019-20 except where noted.

The following individuals have volunteered to serve:

Intergovernmental Relations -- Carlos Ramirez

Directors-at Large ( were previously elected by members at the Annual Membership Meeting )

Eric Cheng, Alexander Harrison, Karen Smith – to serve until May 2021

Diane Greenwald, Dara Gruenberg, Matt Martin – to serve until May 2022

Lisa VanGundy will serve the remainder of Ron Schulhof's term as a director-at-large. Schulhof, who was to serve until May 2020, resigned his position after his recent election to the Scarsdale Board of Education.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee, per the By-Laws, is expected to consist of the elected officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer), and the Immediate Past President. Additionally, Presidents of the Forum have typically additional members of the Board of Directors to fulfill these duties.

Through their accomplishments, the forum has become the place for Scarsdalians to engage in thoughtful discussions, learn about important issues that impact our community, and voice their opinions in a spirit of collaboration and fellowship. I am thrilled by the team we've assembled for the next year, and eagerly anticipate very productive committee conversations and reports to come. ”

Scarsdale Forum

The Scarsdale Forum is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to community education through discussion and analysis of issues relevant to Scarsdale residents. Since 1904, it has contributed meaningfully to village affairs through its written reports, public speaker events, and committee discussions. Membership is available to all Scarsdale and Mamaroneck Strip residents, regardless of citizenship status.
