Hello!
We made it through Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday. With all of this commerciali$m attached to it, we can be sure Thanksgiving will remain a holiday, a time to gather, a time for gratitude. We can tune out the rest.
On a more serious note, lately I have been distressed about the goings on. It seems as if here and throughout the world, turmoil has been bubbling up like my fresh cranberry sauce, just much less tasty. Meanwhile, communication, our great tool to bridge gaps and promote understanding, seems far less effective than ever. I will refrain from listing the absurdities happening in media, government, education, culture, society, and even religion, because I want to maintain my record of positivity. I'll just say that a zombie apocalypse would make more sense to me than the destruction that a faction of dreamers who think they are awake want to impose on everyone else. The zombies are imaginary. The delusions, terror, suffering, and atrocities are real.
I concede these matters are way above my pay grade to solve. So I've got to ask, "Yo, God! Are you seeing what I'm seeing here? DO something, please."
I am beginning to see glimmers of hope out there, at least what feels like hope. Meanwhile recently, we had a fabulous full moon, obscured by deep, broken clouds. That is this week's mysterious image. Hang in there! Let me know how you are doing.
May this Message bring you renewal, strength, clarity, and HOPE
(How-to Overcome Practically Everything).
Emmie
