Fall Sessions - Acts OF Kindness - A Message Of Hope

This year I made a commitment to summertime, to create, explore outdoors, love, self-care and connect deeper to my soul. What I discovered was there is so much to be grateful for even during times of hardship and despair. Recently, a friend shared with me the idea of "Heart Sing" It's like a gratitude journal, but simplified. What makes his heart sing, he writes it down. These are moments in time that he wants to remember with gratitude. I found this so uplifting and began my own heart sing list! Here are a few of my "Heart Sings " from this past summer.

* My son got to finally go on the 53

mile backpacking trip with the scouts!

* I did a solo trip to Mammoth Lakes and hiked 40 miles within 4 days!!

* Spending time with family in Trinadad California enjoyed the redwoods, hikes, fresh ocean air and so enjoyed being with those I love in this magical place!

* Paddle boarding with a friend, water brings joy! When we were paddling back I saw a floating golden heart leaf and then created the piece of art above. I posted the image on my instagram page, where I like to post positive visual inspirations. During one of my summer exploring days, I meet a talented artist who later saw the image and asked if she could buy it!! I was so honored and grateful! It made heart sing!

When we let our hearts guide us to what makes our heart sing, we will live a more authentic life, full of joy, gratitude, compassion, love and kindness. With so much transpiring in the world today I hope this message inspires you to let your heart guide you to living a joyful life, no matter what challenges you are personally facing.

One of the greatest blessings in my photography career is sharing my creative services to help raise money for a variety of local charities. This year many charities are really hurting! I am so touched and honored to be part of New Day For Children! In addition to offering photo sessions to be auctioned off at their upcoming event, I am offering my clients 50% off photo sessions with every donation they make through October! No donation is too small to receive this offer. Every act of kindness matters. Together we make the world a better place for these children. I know some of their stories. One of the girls was sex trafficking by her own mother from age 3 to 9 years old. Today she is a college graduate, she graduated with honors.
