Do you like to run and want to learn the backgrounds of timing?
This is YOUR opportunity as the Appalachian Timing Group is looking for new people to join our timing team! This position is PRN/Seasonal.
Every race we work with requires dedication, passion, and a willingness to learn! With great on the spot training, the job is fun, enjoyable, and rewarding!
As things continue to open back up, we have a great future and now just need YOU to help make it a reality.
All of our Timers MUST:
- Have great basic computer skills (typing, excel, etc).
- Be somewhat familiar with road racing - you don't have to be an expert...yet.
- Be available on most weekends (usually Saturday mornings).
- Have transportation to/from the race (with a vehicle big enough to transport timing equipment).
- Be located in/near Cabell/Putnam County, WV (or have the ability to store equipment on a weekly basis).

Main timers start out at $150/race plus $0.25/participant while assistants start out at $75/race (both of which have the opportunity to earn more as you gain experience or if the event you work is more than a couple hours long). We also cover travel/mileage depending on event location.
