Field Irrigation Training Luncheon

Thursday, February 12th

11am-12:30pm

This hands-on irrigation training is built by the field, for the field. It focuses on practical installation, repair, and layout concepts used every day in commercial landscapes. The training will be delivered in English with Spanish translation and is designed for irrigation technicians, crew supervisors, and field leaders responsible for system performance and long-term reliability.

Topics will include an overview of:

- points of connection and basic system hydraulics
- proper solvent cement welding techniques

- correct mainline, lateral, valve, and manifold installation and repair methods

- head-to-head coverage and layout fundamentals

- nozzle selection and matched precipitation

- drip irrigation installation and repair concepts

The focus is on real-world practices that reduce leaks, callbacks, water waste, and system failures, while improving field confidence, water efficiency, and overall irrigation quality.
