Dr. Marcus Bright is an author and community development finance professional dedicated to expanding access to capital and economic opportunity in underserved communities.


Dr. Bright previously taught at five universities and held administrative posts across various sectors, including higher education, school district, non-profit, and government entities. He has published four books that were Amazon #1 ranked new releases in their respective categories. Additionally, he has published over 200 articles in numerous publications and has spoken across the country on a variety of topics related to public policy, education, and social justice.


He received a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Florida International University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa.
