Hello!
Extraordinariness may well be in the eye of the beholder. Popular culture rewards the "best of" whatever, the "GOAT", when actually, it is well worthwhile to take notice of everyday excellence.
Have you ever had a wonderful meal at a simple, out-of-the-way restaurant? Or, have you ever come upon an exquisite piece of artwork at a little exhibit? Have you ever visited someone, and discovered their glorious garden? Have you ever heard someone singing or playing an instrument, and wished you could hear it every day?
Some would say that ordinary excellence is a contradiction. I say, remember that effort and achievement matter, whether the result is known far and wide, or only near and close. So, go ahead: Be great! Create! Do what only you can do. Awareness of your work may come and go, but your ability to be extraordinary just gets better, the more you develop your skill and talent. Let the reward be in the doing and the being. Bask in the glow of knowing you have done very, very well.
This week's prickly pear portrait features one of bezillions blooming throughout the desert now. By the roadside or in a botanical garden, these vibrant, waxy blossoms are each beautiful in its own right. Some plants produce blossoms in yellow or orange, and tinged with pink, all at once!
May this Message bring you renewal, strength, clarity, and HOPE
(How-to Overcome Practically Everything).
Blessings to you and the ones you love,
Emmie
