Lent Worship and Study Series:
Like many of us, Peter has a wandering heart. His journey is not polished, or linear, or perfect, but he is always tethered to the love of God. When you look closely at Peter’s story, you find Jesus at each step along the way— offering him abundance, catching him when he begins to sink, challenging him when he stands in the way, washing his feet, predicting his betrayal, and offering him agapē love. This Lent, we’re joining Peter in figuring out faith. We’re not idolizing or vilifying him; instead, we’re hoping to wander alongside him, open to what we might learn about Jesus (and ourselves) by stepping in his shoes.

Lent Daily Devotionals
Take up a daily habit of prayer and reflection. We are providing Lenten devotional books for each household that will coordinate with our Sunday worship themes through scripture, reflections, art, poetry and music.
Our friends at A Sanctified Art have also provided a special e-reader version of this year’s Lent devotional, which you can access on your computer and mobile devices. In order to protect their work, we are unable to sharing this link online or post it on social media. If you would like the link, it will be in our bulletins or you can contact Pastor Kallie.

Save the Date! Free Garage Sale
The Free Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 4th this year. This is a wonderful event that helps you clear out unwanted items and provide them to those in need in the community at no cost to them.
Due to space limitations, we will be collecting items only on Friday May 3rd from 7am-8pm. Since we will only have one day to get things together, we are asking that you pre-sort your items before you bring them into the following categories:
- Men's clothes and shoes
- Women's clothes, shoes and accessories
- Children's clothes and shoes
- Toys, books and games
- Housewares
- Home Decor
- Electronics
Items need to be clean and in good working condition (no stains, rips, not broken etc) We are also in need of Clothing Racks if anyone has one we can borrow. We will have a sign up genius for help sorting items on May 3rd and helping with the Garage Sale on May 4th.

“Inspire"
We are starting a new support group for people who are dealing with loss and the pain that accompanies it. Sometimes life overwhelms us with many kinds of losses (death, health, job, relationships) and it seems we are alone but we are NOT alone! We can find our joy again through the compassion of Christ, relationships with fellow strugglers, and praying for each other.
Join Kathie Best and others on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 am to noon. We will use a variety of resources to learn, support and encourage each other including Scripture, a book by a fellow struggler who is a pastor, books by the late Brennan Manning, and of course each other!
If you have questions contact Pastor Kallie (pastor@kyleumc.org) or call Kathie Best.
