Therapy Rates and Housing Subsidies Update

Greetings!

Below are the latest updates for Therapy rates and Housing Subsidies from the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

THERAPY RATES UPDATE

Effective immediately, the rate of reimbursement for all therapists paid via Self-Directed Services budgets will change from $65.88 per hour to $40.66 per hour. This change has been initiated by OPWDD following rates set by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. 
HOUSING SUBSIDY UPDATE

Here is the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities latest guidance for Housing Subsidies. 

Springbrook’s Self-Directed Services will continue to rely on Care Managers and/or Brokers to complete Housing Subsidy applications and annual Housing Subsidy renewals. Included in this email is a list of what is required when submitting a budget that includes a Housing Subsidy (either Full Budget Amendment or CNBA) in order for the Housing Subsidy to be issued or continued. 

ANY Budget or Cost Neutral Budget Amendment submitted that includes a Housing Subsidy, MUST also include:  

  • Housing Subsidy Quality Assurance Checklist
  • Housing Subsidy Participation Agreement.
  • Housing Subsidy Submission Checklist
  • Housing Subsidy Support Services Plan

You can find all of the required forms above by clicking the buttons below. Please note, submission of these forms is required annually for the Housing Subsidy to continue uninterrupted.
