The Chamber of Commerce welcomes

Three P's Ice Cream

as our newest member!

Three P's Ice Cream is a family owned, small business, ice cream parlor located in Rockdale’s Waymar Plaza by Mr. Gattis and Tractor Supply. All ice cream and waffle cones are made in-house from scratch with the family’s own recipes. They offer 16+ different flavors with rotating seasonal flavors. Regular flavors include Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Butter Pecan, Cotton Candy, Rockdale Road, Mexican Hot Chocolate, and Mango. The seasonal flavors change every 6 weeks. Currently they have Peaches and Cream, Spiced Banana, Patriotic Peppermint, Bubble Gum, and Charlotte’s Blue Moon (Blueberry Flavored). Special no-added sugar options are also available with changing flavors including Vanilla, Cinnamon Sunflower, Green Tea, and Butter Pecan. Dairy-free options include their rotating granita flavors of strawberry, pickle, and cherry.

Paula, Paul, and Paulina Waak are the Three P’s. They moved to Rockdale in 2015 and love their rural community. All three P family members have a passion for libraries, science, helping others, and they especially enjoy making and eating ice cream. Paulina is a Girl Scout entrepreneur who has created mini businesses including her pop-up lemonade, sweet tea, hot chocolate, and plant stands. Creating a “sweets and treats” ice cream stand is one dream business that she had wanted at an early age. Paul and Paula saw there was a need in the community for a “family-friendly” place to take kids to after they got home from work. In 2023, they used their past librarian skills to research how to make an ice cream parlor. In December 2024, Three P’s Ice Cream had their Grand Opening. Out of all the flavors they have made so far, Paula’s favorite was the past seasonal Rose Pistachio, Paul’s was the past seasonal Lavender Berries, and Paulina’s was the past seasonal Coffee.

The Three P’s have enjoyed meeting so many different people from all over Milam County. They’ve had people from as far as Canada, Australia, and New York enjoy their ice cream parlor too. They love seeing grandparents coming in with their grandkids reminiscing on ice cream shops they used to visit when they were little.

Three P’s Ice Cream is located at 1516 W. Cameron Ave in Rockdale. They can be found on Facebook and Instagram @threepsicecream and on the web at www.threepsicecream.com
