Tis the Season! The MCDC Culture Crew was at it again by collecting funds and items for The City Rescue Mission of Lansing. The need for giving was heightened this year as many people have been struggling with higher food costs along with other factors such as supply chain disruptions and delays.
Vice President, Marnie Spitzley led the Culture Crew in buying necessary items that are crucial in ensuring the mission continue to offer food, shelter, and hope to individuals and families facing difficult times. Total employee contributions for the Culture Crew amounted to $300. which was matched by MCDC.
“With the challenges faced by everyone, the MCDC Team displayed the giving spirit and the true meaning of the holidays.” stated President, Mark Williams. “I am so proud of this extraordinary team that has given so generously of both time and money.”
The City Rescue Mission of Lansing is dedicated to providing food, shelter, and hope to those in need in Michigan's capital area. Currently, they are seeking donations of items such as canned fruit, coffee, coffee creamer, shampoo, and laundry soap. Donations can be dropped off at their location at 607 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912.
