Thursday, May 2, 2024 - Rise of the Senate

Room 313 - State House

Reclaim RI is organizing folks to testify in support of the package and HOPE at Brown has created this testimony guide for submitting written testimony. They are asking supporters to wear red.

TESTIFY IN WRITING: To submit additional or individual written testimony, please email it to the clerk, Lindsay Bazile, at SenateJudiciary@rilegislature.gov. Try to send it as a PDF and submit it by 1:30pm. 

TESTIFY IN-PERSON: The hearing will take place in Room 313 in the State House and will start at the Rise of the Senate. Please reach out to kwest@housingnetworkri.org with any questions about testifying.

There is accessible parking available in the State lots and basement level of the State House. The basement level (enter on from Smith Street) has a wheelchair accessible entrance and elevator. There is an elevator on the first floor of the State House. Both entrances have metal detectors.

Parking: State lots are open after 3 p.m. and free to park. Metered parking is also available on the streets around the State House and at the Providence Place Mall (about a 10 minute walk from Francis St. to the Smith St. entrance).
