Greetings,

As I reflect on this past year of ministry within the Interstate Baptist Association, my heart is filled with gratitude for God's faithfulness and the partnership we share in advancing His kingdom. Our journey together continues to remind me of a powerful truth: we are better together. The work of the Kingdom was never intended to be carried out in isolation. While each of our churches has its own unique calling, gifts, and ministry opportunities, our collective impact is far greater when we unite our efforts, resources, and hearts around the mission of Jesus Christ.

Through the Interstate Baptist Association, we have the privilege of participating in ministry opportunities that no single congregation could undertake with the same reach, strength, or effectiveness on its own. Over the past year, we have continued to see the value of cooperative ministry. Whether building meaningful relationships on our college and university campuses, standing alongside communities walking through the ashes and devastation of fire, or investing in our children's spiritual growth through Vacation Bible School classrooms and summer camp experiences, our partnership has let us participate in something bigger than ourselves. These ministries represent more than programs and events. They represent lives touched, relationships strengthened, faith nurtured, and the love of Christ demonstrated in tangible ways. Every church that prays, gives, serves, sends volunteers, or encourages another congregation has a part in this shared mission. Each. contribution matters, and together those contributions create opportunities for ministry that extend far beyond the walls of our individual churches.

I am especially grateful to the pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and congregations who remain committed to our association's vision and work. Your willingness to cooperate, encourage one another, and serve alongside fellow Baptists is a testimony to the unity we have in Christ. We may not all approach ministry in exactly the same way, but we share a common commitment to the gospel and to making Jesus known in our communities and throughout the world.

As we look ahead to the coming year, I believe we must keep building on this foundation. Some communities need hope, students need to know they are loved, children need opportunities to grow in their faith, and churches need the encouragement and support of fellow believers. The opportunities before us are significant, but so is the potential of a people willing to work together for the glory of God.

My prayer is that we will never lose sight of the purpose that brings us together. May we continue to strengthen our relationships, celebrate one another’s victories, bear one another’s burdens, and dream boldly about what God can accomplish through our shared efforts. Let us remain open to new opportunities, faithful in our commitments, generous with our resources, and united in our witness.

As we gather in fellowship, reunion, worship, and inspiration during our annual meeting, may this time together serve as a springboard for the next chapter of ministry in our network. May our conversations lead to meaningful partnerships, our worship renew our passion for Christ, and our planning prepare us to meet the needs and opportunities God places before us.

Thank you for your faithfulness, your partnership, and your commitment to the work we share. It is an honor to serve alongside you as we continue this journey of cooperative ministry. May the Lord bless our churches, strengthen our association, and use our collective witness to advance His kingdom in ways that bring Him glory. Together, we can reach further. And together, by the grace of God, we can accomplish far more than we ever could alone.

Keep the Son Shining,
