As you hopefully know, I'm fundraising to finish my first feature-length film, which examines race, equality and education in a city I fell in love with while making the short film Code Oakland.
This film is sponsored by the International Documentary Organization (The Invisible War, Won't You Be my Neighbor, Last Men in Aleppo), which means your donation is fully tax-deductible. I love win-win situations, don't you?
Thank you to those who have already donated or sent out emails to encourage others to support this project. These mini crowd-funding emails really help as do donations at any level.
Need some inspiration?
Watch what we've already made in Oakland to get a glimpse of what inspires me so much. Note: you can rent Code Oakland for free using promo codeGetTEACHED.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and thank you for any level of support you can provide. I wish you all a safe, peaceful and healthy holiday season.
