SF Public Works is launching a community planning process to transform the space beneath I-80 between 4th–6th Streets and Harrison–Bryant Streets in the South of Market into a public open space.
Community members are invited to attend the first public meeting to learn about the project's goals, including improving air quality, expanding the urban tree canopy, and increasing flood resilience, and to share ideas for how the space can best serve the neighborhood through recreation and community gathering.
