The owner of the Talbot Mills dam in Billerica filed an Expanded Environmental Notification (EENF) Form with the MEPA office on June 15th, 2023, for the Talbot Mills dam removal project.

Anyone can submit a Comment Letter

This is an opportunity to have your voice heard and provide information and ideas on the proposed project. The MEPA process ensures sufficient information on a project’s environmental impacts is in hand to make sound decisions.

We expect the EENF to be published in the Environmental Monitor on June 23rd, 2023, where you can download the application, find a site visit date if scheduled, and get the file number, name of the MEPA analyst, and the deadline for submitting comments.
