BAPTISMs are increasing! PTL. You are reaching people with the Gospel. Many LRBA churches baptized people on Easter Sunday and April 27 “Fill The Tank” Sunday and through out this spring. Please let us know how many you have baptized so far this year.

VBS - Magnified - True North- Live It Out - Wonder Junction - Waves of Wonder - Excel Camp - Sports Camp - At least 18 Churches have already began planning for their VBS Summer Outreach.

MISSION TRIPS 

7 Churches have Missions Trips planned to Armenia, New Bedford MA, Ukraine, Hendersonville, Guatemala, Lynchburg, Shelby, Ft Caswell to name a few. Ireland will be a mission trip for me! 

OUTREACH Opportunity

Post Easter springtime is a great time for churches to

• Prayer-Walk neighborhoods
• Reach-Out to new neighborhoods
• Invite people to church
• Promote your VBS and summer events

Please look for ways to maximize the GOSPEL IMPACT of all of your events and activities!

VBS is still one the most effective outreach tools in America for reaching children if you are intentional about sharing the Gospel and following up with the families that attend. 

Mission trips are one of the best ways to help people to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and be more impactful in ministry through the local church upon their return. Please encourage all of your people to be involved in some type of mission trip or missional activity.

SERVE NC August 2-9 is also a great way for our churches to connect with the community, serve local schools near your church or your fire department, police department or first responders with some type of mission service project that meets their need and shares the gospel. Especially great opportunity to connect with schools as they need help getting ready for the new school year. Painting classrooms, landscaping and providing gifts and meals for teachers are all good ways to serve our schools. SERVE NC

Mission Trip Opportunity

Pastor Joe Monk of The Gathering, will be leading a group to Guatemala from July 19-26. During the week people will have the opportunity to work in a medical clinic, do VBS type ministry, or construction. The cost is $650 + airfare.
