Research Internships in Science and Engineering
RISE Worldwide 2021
RISE stands for Research Internships in Science and Engineering. RISE offers summer research internships across the world to German undergraduate students with academic training in biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, engineering or a closely related field. 2021 projects can be submitted online from Sept. 1 to Oct. 15, 2020. Call for Applications
Graduate Study Scholarship
Highly qualified final year undergraduate students or eligible graduates may apply for the DAAD Study Scholarship for a full Master's degree program at a German university or for study at a German university as part of a postgraduate program completed in the home country. Apply by November 4th.

Call for Applications
University Summer Course Grants
This program provides scholarships to attend a broad range of three- to four-week summer courses at German universities, which focus mainly on German language and literary, cultural, political and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany. Apply by December 1st.

2020 Photo Contest: Voting Begins 9/28!

The annual DAAD North America photo contest opens for voting on Monday, 09/28! Vote for your favorite entry (or entries) between September 28th, 2020 at 5:00pm and October 12th, 2020 at 5:00pm EDT. Every person may cast one vote per day during this period.

We are looking for three interns from Oct. 15 or Nov. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2020 to help process scholarship applications. Applicants should be fluent in English (plus, ideally, in German), have an interest in intl. higher ed., be able to work with Excel, work with great attention to detail, and be available 5 days a week.
