The Pediatric Heart Transplant Society (PHTS) is a multidisciplinary, professional, and collaborative organization dedicated to advancing the science and treatment of children through the journey of heart transplantation. The goals of PHTS are to promote collaboration, encourage and stimulate research, develop best practices, provide an education platform, and increase the overall awareness about pediatric heart transplantation.
This curriculum includes 16 courses covering topics starting with the indication for transplant and pre-transplant evaluation through to the surgical procedure and long-term management. This curriculum was assembled by 22 MDs and NP experts within the field of pediatric heart transplantation and provides an excellent foundation for understanding the current state of knowledge in pediatric heart transplants.

We are excited to announce our inaugural ACHD scholarship program for FITs which was made possible through the financial support of the Women as One Escalator Awards: Promoting talent in medicine by providing unique professional opportunities to women physicians.
The Adult Congenital Heart Disease Scholarship is a new program created and championed by Dr. Katia Bravo (ACHD fellow UCLA) & Dr. Renee Bullock Palmer (Attending Cardiologist, Deborah Heart & Lung Center, New Jersey).
All US trainees in the first two years of cardiovascular training (adult or pediatric) who would like to gain more experience in Adult Congenital Cardiology are invited to apply to the program. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to complete an ACHD rotation at Boston Children’s, Mayo Clinic, or UCLA in 2022.
