Dear Valued Chamber Members and Community Leaders,

We are reaching out to share an important update about the future of the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and what it means for your business as a member of the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber, Kennebec Valley Chamber or both.

The Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber will be transitioning away from a traditional membership-based organization to a community-focused organization dedicated to supporting local events, traditions, initiatives, partnerships, and the continued promotion of the Winthrop Lakes Region.

If you are a current member of the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, your membership will transition to the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce, allowing you to continue receiving valuable Chamber benefits while gaining access to even more resources, connections, and opportunities to support your business or organization.

Through your KV Chamber membership, you will benefit from an expanded network of businesses and community leaders throughout the greater Kennebec Valley and Capital Region. These benefits include networking and relationship-building opportunities, business advocacy, professional development, workforce and leadership initiatives, increased business promotion and visibility, referrals and introductions, ribbon cuttings, and a wide variety of Chamber events and programs.

Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible while providing even greater value to your membership and helping your business grow, connect, and thrive.

The KV Chamber team will be in touch with businesses affected by the transition to confirm membership information and any applicable renewal details. In the meantime, your KV Chamber membership and benefits will continue as usual.

We appreciate your support of both organizations and look forward to continuing to work with you as we begin this next chapter of supporting the Winthrop business community together!

Sincerely,

Winthrop Lakes Chamber of Commerce & Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce
