Greetings! It's so tempting on April Fool's Day to post things about the Library like "We're fine free!" or "You can print from your phone," or "You can download books, movies, & music for free!" or "We can get you a book from another library in a day or two" and "You can read a story as you walk through the park"--but wait--these things are all true, no fooling! Of course, There's More to the Story, which just happens to be the theme for National Library Week, April 23-29. Public libraries have been about more than books for a very long time and we're no exception. Yes, we're full of stories in a variety of formats from picture books to large print, audiobooks, ebooks, DVDs, and so much more! We offer programs to bring people together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, storytimes, movies, and crafts. We provide internet and access to technology, helpful staff, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. There's always more to the story at our Library--stop in and see for yourself!

During National Library Week (April 23-29) we'll feature some extra fun for all ages, including a book hunt and comic contest for kids. You can write a brief note about what the Library means to you (to be entered in a prize drawing), and take a guess at How Many Candies in the Container (all ages). And that's just a small part of our Library story. What's yours?
