TOUCHING THE HEART... REACHING THE SOUL! | | Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, When it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; When thou hast it by thee. -- Proverbs 3:27–28 | | |

| | Youth are a true blessing to those who invest. | | |
Is there any better way to live than investing in youth? The answer is "no."
ORH believes this, and ORH volunteers invest regularly, Below is a nice letter from a grandfather who accompanied his grandson on the Kenya 2026 medical team.
"I am writing this to express my deep appreciation for the work of ORH and its dedicated staff. In July 2026 I went on a medical mission trip to Kenya with my 14 year old grandson. I have traveled a lot and helped many missionaries. My grandson is a typical teen who thinks he has a rough life because he has to empty the dishwasher. I wanted him to work hard for others and see how tough life is for many other people. I brought a young boy to Kenya and because of the professionalism and spirit of the leadership and of the group he was challenged to step out of his comfort zone. He was able to work within the finely tuned parameters and stellar examples of his coworkers to go beyond his comfort zone. He was encouraged and challenged and stretched and I watched a young boy become a young man.
The transformation that I saw in my grandson was thrilling to me and life changing for him. Instead of focusing on himself he was challenged to go the extra mile for people he never met and treat them with God's love.
Neither one of us will be the same after our trip to Kenya.
Thank you for allowing us to serve along side of you as you meet needs and change lives. In His Service, John Holder"
This is a blessing to all those staff who work on medical clinics, boot camps, Summits, and internship programs with the young people. Thank you, Mr. Holder, from all of the staff of Operation Renewed Hope.
Parents, your young person can experience great opportunities and blessing, Connect your teen with ORH today.

JOURNAL ENTRIES OF AN INTERN IN BOLIVIA
When on an extended-stay assignment, an intern is expected to keep a daily journal to be submitted to ORH Internship Director Christ Holshouser, NP. The journals have Scripture passages to read and evaluations. Below are two entries from an intern.
In 3-5 sentences, tell me what you did that impacted you today:
Today was a long and tiring day. We drove 8 hours to Trinidad, and the Lord gave us lots of gas on the way. During the drive, we saw lots of cows on the road, an 18 wheeler flipped on the road, capybaras, and we will see more animals hopefully on the final leg of the drive. However, the struggle came once we came into Trinidad, as there were days' worth of gas lines. So we had to drive around asking sketchy people where to buy gas. So after about 3 hours of asking ppl, we were able to buy gas in order to make it to Riberalta. I and many ppl were constantly praying that the Lord would provide us with gas somehow, and after a long time looking the Lord provided gas.
In 3-5 sentences, tell me what you did that impacted you today:
Today we went in the morning to work and prepare the kids camp for next week. It is like in the middle of nowhere of the middle of nowhere. We spent all day raking, chopping, etc. lots of physical labor for the duration of about an ORH clinic day. We saw a tarantula the size of my hand. But it was good and fun to work with everyone to prepare and make it the best for the kids.

THOUGHT FOR ADULTS
Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; Until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, And thy power to every one that is to come. -- Psalm 71:18
| | MEN MOVING ZINC SHEETING TO DISASTER AREA | | It is great to have nationals and ministries committed to the welfare of their people. Please read their first report of how the initial $5000 from ORH was used. | | FAMILIES MEETING WITH PASTOR | | |
"Each family received six 12-foot sheets, six 8-foot sheets, and fourteen 9-foot sheets (total 26 sheets for one family). This allocation will enable each family to construct at least one 12x12 foot room, providing them with decent, temporary shelter. Upon receiving the sheets, the families were overjoyed and expressed their gratitude, saying, “We will never forget this help.”
.... I humbly request your support and prayers to help raise the necessary funds for this effort. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the friends who supported this “First Phase of Relief Distribution.” Thank you. Bijay Pradhan, ORH, country representative "
All the work being accomplished, will start a very important part of the work ORH seeks to do. Please pray that ORH will be strong enough to meet these next needs for the souls of men.
