Last year we introduced you to the reimagined and rebranded parish appeal -- the Xavier Impact Fund (XIF). We have already witnessed the impact of your generosity! Our Catholic community is stronger together, and your gift to XIF will continue to make an impact with family financial assistance, grow the newly established teacher endowment, and to advance our faith/academics at XHS. Our goal for the parishes combined effort is $525,000. We believe that together we can achieve!
The XIF parish outreach takes place this weekend, September 24-25 and October 2-3 at area Masses (Immaculate Conception, St. Jude, and St. Wenceslaus will be October 2-3 and October 9-10 Masses.) The effort will be led by overall campaign chairs Jamie and Tammy McAllister of St. Joseph parish, and co-chairs KJ and Kris Pilcher of St. Jude parish. In addition to the three key areas XIF will support, we remain committed to our partner parishes so we are happy to announce that every dollar raised above a parish’s goal will go directly back to the parish to be used for the parish’s greatest need! There are many changes to the campaign due to COVID-19 to keep our volunteers and donors safe, so please watch your mailbox for a commitment card that can be either dropped off after mass with a volunteer outside the main doors, or mailed in at your convenience.
How can you help? Volunteer at your parish during the parish outreach weekends. Be sure to wear your Xavier spirit gear on these weekends and help spread the word about the impact Catholic education has had on your family.
XIF business outreach will launch under the leadership of Chair - Maria Johnson Drees and Co-Chair - Brooke McLaughlin, on October 13, with an overall business goal of $150,000. More information will be following including an opportunity for business sponsorships.
