Cellar Door Wine Shop earns two Medals
for Charlotte's Best Awards
| | |
Cellar Door Wine Shop is proud to announce that it has earned medals in The Charlotte Observer's prestigious "Charlotte's Best" Awards-for the second year in a row. Nominated and voted on by members of the community, Charlotte's Best recognizes top local businesses across a variety of categories. Cellar Door Wine Shop, which is located in downtown Concord, was awarded a 2026 Gold Medal under the Eat & Drink: Wine selection category as well a Bronze Medal under Shopping: Specialty Store. "To see the community respond with so much warmth and support is incredibly humbling. Andrew and Robin are endlessly grateful to everyone who took the time to vote. The recognition belongs to the wonderful customers just as much as it does for them.
Cellar Door is a boutique wine retail store that opened its doors in 2024. It specializes in wines sourced from small, family-run vineyards around the world, rather than mass market labels. Owners Robin and Andrew Angell are also passionate about providing educational and community-focused events, from tastings to paring dinners to in-depth classes, and even the occasional opportunity to meet global winemakers. Every Wednesday evening, Cellar Door offers free, walk-in wine tastings from 5 PM - 7 PM.
Coming up on November 8, Cellar Door Wine Shop will be hosting it's biggest tasting event of the year, their third annual "Seasonal Sips: A Holiday Wine Showcase."
