| | Celebrating 40 Years of Safety, Healing and Hope! | | |
On a beautiful Friday evening in fall we celebrated PEI Kids' 40th Anniversary, at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake, with our signature event, "Denim & Diamonds --Celebrating Four Decades of Safety, Healing and Hope!"
To mark this special year of celebration, we honored the people and partnerships that have shaped four decades of serving children and families across our community with the Champion for Children awards. We had the privilege of presenting the inaugural Champion for Children Awards to the deserving honorees (pictured below) including:
-
Mercer County Prosecutors Office for their unwavering commitment to protecting vulnerable and advancing justice on behalf of child victims,
-
NJM Insurance Group for their corporate leadership and investment in the wellbeing and safety of our community's youth, and
-
Mr. & Mrs. Tom and Francesca Bartlett for their generosity and steadfast support of prevention, education, and healing for at-risk youth.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all who attended, donated and volunteered to support this event. A special thanks goes to our generous event sponsors who made it all possible. Every ticket purchased, every donation made, and every moment shared helped us to continue in the vital work of our mission.

WE UPDATED OUR IMAGE!
We recently embarked on a major initiative to update our brand. (You may have noticed the new logo at the top of this newsletter!)
Members of our Board of Trustees came together to advance one of the Critical Success Factors identified in our Strategic Plan -- a campaign to refine our messaging and update our imagery, logo, and marketing. The ultimate goal was to make the PEI Kids brand more relatable and recognizable and to support our position as a regional leader in child safety.
The outcome of this effort is the new “Kite” logo with two available taglines: “Lifting kids out of harm’s way” and our secondary tagline, “Helping the toughest childhoods take flight. “ Both are shown below.
We continue to deliver our evidence-based programs and community-focused services as always, just with a more contemporary look!
