Mask Mandate Update

On March 2, Governor Greg Abbott issued Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent. Businesses are still allowed to voluntarily require masks, and The Dance Spot will continue to do so at this time. As of March 3, Austin remains at Stage 4 for Community Risk per the Austin Public Health guidelines. Cases have been rising and appear to be falling rapidly, but we still have many people in Austin who are sick, and we believe this policy is best for the safety of our staff and dancers. We will continue to monitor this situation, as well as access to vaccines, and keep you posted with our plans.
Make-up Classes

As we continue to return to some sense of normalcy following the chaos that Mother Nature and Old Man winter so lovingly bestowed upon us, we wanted to let you know about the options for making up the class you may have missed last week due to various power outages.

There are some instructors who have scheduled a makeup day for their class, but we understand it may not work with your schedule. As a result, we have decided that if there are no options in the style of class missed, your child can make up the class with ANY genre of dance in their age group and/or level.

Please reach out to the office should you need help with any scheduling needs once you have decided on a class type/day/time.
