Announcing HWCLI's Digital Workforce Champion Awardee

The Health & Welfare Council of Long Island is proud to announce Anil Jagtiani, Chief Executive Officer of NAKA Tech, as the recipient of the 2026 Digital Workforce Champion Award at our Endless Summer Soirée on the Greens.

Anil Jagtiani has built a career around creating opportunities for others. Since founding NAKA Tech in 2017, he has led the company with a people-first philosophy, proving that business success and community impact can go hand in hand. His commitment to collaboration, service, and purposeful leadership has made NAKA a trusted technology partner and a driving force behind initiatives that improve the lives of Long Islanders.

Recognizing the growing workforce challenges facing our region, HWCLI partnered with NAKA to help develop LongIslandJobs.org, a first-of-its-kind regional workforce platform designed to connect residents with employment opportunities, workforce training, volunteer opportunities, and the supportive services needed to achieve long-term economic stability. Created in response to evolving federal SNAP work requirements, the platform reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that every Long Islander has equitable access to the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Anil's leadership extends far beyond technology. Through his dedication to strengthening partnerships and investing in community-driven solutions he has helped create a lasting resource that will benefit job seekers, employers, and service providers across Long Island for years to come. His work exemplifies the power of collaboration and the meaningful impact that can be achieved when the nonprofit and private sectors come together with a shared purpose.

Join us as we celebrate Anil Jagtiani's leadership in advancing workforce innovation and recognize the impact that purpose-driven technology can have on creating pathways to economic opportunity.
