A former Pastor of Lutheran Church of Hope, The Rev. Paul M. Dirks claimed the promise of his baptism on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Pastor Dirks served LCHope from April 1982 - June 1984.

We give thanks to God for Pastor Dirk's ministry to LCHope and to the holy catholic and apostolic church. Pastor Dirk's Liturgy of Resurrection will be on Thursday, September 19th at First Lutheran in Decorah, Iowa.

We claim the Psalmist's words in the 23rd Psalm, while we walk thru the valley in the shadow of death, we fear no evil, for God is with us and God's rod and staff comforts us.

In the words of the church's liturgy, "Into paradise may the angels lead you...may you have everlasting rest."
