Beau is a 1-year-old male Black Mouth Cur: Hello, I'm Beau! I've got a young heart full of curiosity. Every new smell, sound, and texture is an adventure. I'm quite a friendly fellow, always eager to meet new friends. My smarts? Oh, I've got plenty! I'm quick to learn new tricks and routines, making it a breeze for me to train. Loyalty is my middle name! I promise to stick by your side through thick and thin. Why should you adopt me? Well, I'm more than just a pet. I'm a companion, a friend, a confidante. I'll bring joy, laughter, and much love to your life.

Lucy is an eight-month-old female Sheep Dog: Hi, I'm Lucy! I'm full of life and love to play. I'm the kind of dog who can turn any frown upside down with my goofy antics. I'm always on the move, exploring every nook and cranny, ensuring there's no fun to miss. I've got energy to spare and I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a good run. But don't worry, I also know when it's time to chill and enjoy a good cuddle. I'm friendly with everyone I meet, always ready to make a new friend. If you adopt me, I promise to bring joy, laughter and much love into your life. I'm not just looking for a home, I'm looking for a family to share all my love and energy with.

If your family is ready to add a member, we currently have many adoptable animals in our shelter looking for a new place to call home. Learn more by visiting our Petfinder page or calling (214) 862-4525.

March is Texas Smartscape Month

Did you know that approximately 30% of your water bill is spent on outdoor water use?

More than half of this is used for watering lawns and gardens. Since native and adapted plants require less water than nonadapted plants, you will save money by using less water to maintain them.

Making your landscape a Texas SmartScape landscape can save you money, providing that you reduce your watering accordingly.
