Tahoe Dog Co. Featured at North Lake Tahoe Visitor Information Center in Tahoe City

This month, we're proud to introduce Tahoe Dog Co. as the Visitor Information Center’s first Featured Vendor. Founded in 2025, this locally owned business celebrates the dogs that make Tahoe special while supporting the region’s rescue and shelter community. Built on the belief that dogs are an essential part of the Tahoe experience, Tahoe Dog Co. welcomes every pup—from locals to first-time visitors—because, as they say, “A Tahoe Dog isn't a breed. It's a lifestyle.”

We partnered with the North Tahoe Public Utility District to offer families and teams visiting attending tournaments at the North Tahoe Regional Park a curated guide to nearby dining options. This resource was intentionally created to help tournament participants easily understand where to go while in town and better support the local business community that serves these high-impact weekends. It is a service-driven effort designed to strengthen both visitor experience and local businesses.

Get Featured in "The Deep Dive" Campaign

Lake Tahoe Travel’s social series, The Deep Dive, is looking for stories that celebrate what makes your business uniquely Tahoe. July's theme highlights the history and culture of Lake Tahoe's iconic wooden boats, while August focuses on the tradition of taking a dip in the lake.

Does your restaurant have a cocktail or dinner special inspired by wooden boats? Are you offering a special for guests attending the Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance? Or do you have a refreshing summer menu item or experience perfect after a day at the lake? Retail shops, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and other local businesses are invited to share signature offerings, behind-the-scenes stories, and seasonal experiences that bring these themes to life.

Visitor Information Center Concierge Program Opportunity

We recently launched a new Visitor Information Center Concierge Experience Program to help VIC staff build firsthand knowledge of North Tahoe businesses, attractions, restaurants, retail, and events. Through monthly hosted experiences, staff will gain deeper insight into the region to help create more authentic, personalized visitor experiences.
